It has been a while since I posted anything on my website….. not that I’ve been idle, just creating madly! It’s been rather disheartening putting my work up for sale on Etsy and so that aspect of my effort has been rather abandoned. Selling anything there has just become too expensive to be worth my time so I have instead put my effort into creating for fun and I now have a couple of bird card games ready to go. The first is a set of bird based oracle tarot cards. They have taken months of effort to finish and work out details for but it will be nice to have something to show for it…. More details of how the game works in a separate post to come…. Here is an example of the bird card game which I’ve called “Winged Messenger Tarot”.
I’ve also created another bird card game deck which I call “Beastly Birds” ! These feature illustrations of some very badly behaved penguin and puffin characters which I originally thought would make a fun game based on “SNAP”. But I then decided to make a full deck, labelling them with standard card values and suits so that they can be used to play other games too. I developed the Beastly Birds as rather dastardly characters and the idea is for players to get rid of their beastly birds to someone else’s territory and so be left with no bad birds or the smallest number to win the game. Again more in a further post…. And here’s an example of a Beastly Bird !
